Happy 3 Months!

April 15, 2013

Addison, you are 3 months old today! I can't believe how time is flying by!

What's new with you this month:

At your two month check up, you doctor told us to start weaning you from being swaddled while you sleep. I thought that you would never be able to sleep unswaddled, but you surprised me! It took a few weeks, but you are completely weaned from "the swaddle"! You are sleeping really well now. You sleep 6-7 hours at night and take a few good naps during the day. :)

You really started to get the hang of your routine and you love it! So do I! haha!

Mommy had to go back to work last week and it made me so sad to be away from you. But we are so lucky that your Grandmothers are watching you during the day. You are doing so good!

You are such an active girl! You are happiest right after you eat and you get your little legs going to fast. It makes me laugh so hard. I always ask you were you are running to. You are so observant and when you see something exciting, you get your legs going even faster!

You really found your voice this month. You talk and talk, sometimes I wonder what you are saying. You started laughing out loud and the first time it scared you, haha! I could just sit and talk to you forever.

You are a little drool machine, I can't keep you dry! The doctor said that it's the first stage of teething. I hope those teeth hold off a little longer, Mommy isn't ready for a teething baby yet.

You are starting to enjoy more tummy time. You haven't rolled over yet, but you are so close. You get your knees under and try to crawl. I have a feeling that you are going to be moving around before we are ready. ha!

I think that you discovered that your little hands are attached to you. You eat your left hand constantly! You figured out how to grab your toys and they go straight to your mouth!  We have some serious baby-proofing to do once you are on the go! ha!

You are the most precious thing in the world and we love you to pieces!
