Weekend Wrap-up

We had a great weekend! It went by so fast, I need one more day to sleep. ha! We were so lucky to be invited to Game 3 of the World Series on Saturday night! We had an absolute blast!

My brother and I

Even though the Rangers lost so bad, we still had a great time! We got home so late-I was completely exhausted!
Sunday night we went to Hunter's parents to have dinner for his birthday. Dinner was delish and so was the birthday cake as always!

Have a great day!

So a couple of weeks ago, I saw this cool DIY project on Pintrest. Usually when I try DIY projects, they don't turn out too well. I think this one actually looks cute...

It's an old palette that Hunter brought home from work. By the way, I could not have done it without his help. Thanks Hunter! I'm not totally done decorating it-I'm still playing around with some things. But I really do think it looks cute!

Much Love,

Show Us Your Life

I haven't done a "SUYL" post in a looong time. But....when I saw on Kelly's blog what the topic was today I just COULD NOT help myself.
If you know me IRL, then you know how crazy I am about my little man.

This is Dewey, he's a cockapoo. We love him so much.

We chose this breed because it is good for allergies. He hardly sheds at all, which is a major bonus! His hair is actually almost like human hair. He's the softest thing ever.

How can you not fall in love with that face?

He does have some social issues. He's not mean at all, but he will not come within 20 feet of a stranger. He hides behind my legs and shivers anytime we have friends over. He is so shy and maybe a little crazy, ha!

Dewey is the sweetest thing ever, when he wants to be, ha!

Thanks for stopping by,

a sad day

Last night when I heard the news that Steve Jobs lost his long battle with cancer, I was immediately sad for his family. I don't consider myself a technologically advanced person. But I am sitting here typing this post on my Mac laptop and answering calls on my iPhone. Steve Jobs touched all of our lives in a way. The tech world lost a visionary, an icon. It's a sad day.
